Why on earth would you want to “pimp your ride”? For the first point you look like a right tosser! I have seen cars that have rockets for exhausts and not on a fast car, on a Nova! What’s the point sounding like your going at 1000000 mph when going at 30?
Typically the type of people who do up their cars are in low paid jobs and spend all the money they have on their car. If they had any sense and saved up the money instead, they would be able to buy a porsche boxster on no time at all.
