Dell Users Tell Them To Go Back To XP

And I completely agree, I have been using Vista business edition on my other laptop harddrive for a while to give it a good testing but after a couple months went back to my trusty windows XP Pro. First of all the spec of the laptop: 1.6ghz, 512 Ram, 60 gig harddrive so not bad really plenty good enough for what I need it for, Internet spreadsheets, and general business stuff.
However when using Vista first of all the install took ages to complete, then it ran fairly quickly after a fresh install. This didn’t last for that long as after I had put all my stuff on there it started to run slow. I had to wait ages when first powering up the machine for everything to load, and then my computer couldn’t run the Aero interface, I later installed Vista on my other more powerful machine and Aero was just rubbish anyway and not really usable.
So Dell, the 2nd largest PC seller with a 15% market share, have listened to the consumer and gone back to XP, will Vista ever take off? Probably not for a long time till more people get more powerful machines, it becomes cheaper, a lot cheaper, or till Microsoft get Vista sorted out properly and speed it up. Roll on XP service pack 3!
I still wont update to Vista at least until they release SP1 for it.
All the people who I have talked to that own Vista have all fallen out with it and gone back to XP. They have a lot of problems to fix!
