When Is A Digg Article A success?
May 28th, 2007 by Martin
I have been experimenting with Digg for the past few weeks by putting 3 articles (not all at once) onto Digg. First of all I did crap getting an entire 2 Diggs, one of which was mine, not the best of starts but things can only get better than getting 1 other Digg.
The 2nd article I put up did slightly better getting 3 Diggs in total. I did better by writing a more snappy title. I read that some people Digg your article just by looking at the title and description and don’t bother going to the site.
3rd article did what I think was ok getting getting 13 Diggs in total. Although I only got 17 diggs in total which in some peoples books is rubbish in terms of articles on Digg, I don’t care because those 3 articles and 17 Diggs got me 124 unique visitors! when i’m only getting 200 uniques per day, I think is good going. If I can get that many visitors from 17 diggs just think of the traffic possibilities getting 1000+ or even 100 diggs. Front page of Digg here I come. Back to the drawing board.
