Directory submission truly helps get higher in SERPS because your site gets more incoming links and search engines value the sites based on the number of backlinks (it is not the only criteria but one of several). I do not think you should have 500 different submissions to the same directory as they will look like artificial links. You should submit the website to one directory only once. It's nice that you have so many keywords and anchor texts for the same site. Your submissions (anchor text) will differ from directory to directory and every submission will look unique and natural to SE.</description>

					<description>hello old friend! a lot of directories took a battering in the last PR update (october, not the most recent), meaning the link the page was placed on was more likely to be supplemental, had no PR if you look at that, was cached infrequently etc. 

General jist is, if the domain has decent link popularity, the page your link is on is cached regularly and you can target anchor text then it's going to be a link worth having.

But not to the point that you'd sell an entire product based on submitting to directories like some clowns would ;-)</description>
